Here are a few progress notes from Lincoln’s owner matt - Lincoln could not walk anywhere near another dog prior to his training.

Hi Nick,

I've had Linc in the dog park about 5 times now, and every time I take him there, his "cool down" period gets less and less, which is great!  By "cool down", I mean the amount of time it takes for Linc to become calm and balanced, before I take him into the park.  Now it usually takes me about 5 minutes or less to get him into the park with a couple dogs in it.

Tonight I took him to the park, and what I did was, sit him beside the fence and see the other dogs, let them come over to him and sniff each other.  Tonight a dog barked at Lincoln through the fence and Linc didn't do anything, I told him to leave it, and he looked away from the dog, then looked at me.

He absolutely LOVES being in the dog park!

Cheers.

Hey Nick,

I just wanted to give you a quick update.

Linc is doing great!  Still taking him to the dog park a few times a week.  He is getting better with dogs on leash as well.  I'm actually able to introduce him to dogs on leash (in the right settings of course).  On our walks to the dog park, we usually run into a few dogs, and he is getting better at walking past them with little or no reaction.  He will let the dogs come up to him and they have a little sniff.

Anyways, things are progressing nicely.

Cheers.

Matt

Hey Nick!

Just wanted to let you know I can now walk Lincoln through the park off-leash past dogs and squirrels.  He heels like a champ!  I am getting him to the dog park quite often and introducing him to other dogs all the time.

You're the man, thanks again!

-Matt
